Let me introduce myself~ I am Madeleine Whitley and the owner of Beautiful Things. What is Beautiful Things and BT style? It’s my little piece of the world where I can indulge in my passion to design, create, make others smile, and of course go shopping. I have the best job, in fact sometimes I am so engrossed in what I am doing that I even forget it is a job! I read somewhere that if what you are doing doesn’t feel like work and the time flies by then you must be doing what you love to do. I believe we all have a talent and I know mine is creating & designing. I also believe that there is room in each of our lives for beautiful things. That beauty softens the hard edges of life and hopefully will make your day just a little bit better. When I shop for the beautiful things for my shop my goal is to find “things” that are not only functional but will bring a smile to your face – either every time you use them or walk into a room and see them. At Beautiful Things you will find home decor, seasonal inspiration, adorable baby gifts, cards with beautiful greetings, wonderful scented candles and body care and many other hand picked beautiful things. As I mentioned I really do love to shop and when I go to market to discover new items for the shop I take my time meandering from booth to booth looking for just the perfect thing. So you never know what you might find – but you can be assured that it will be beautiful and make you smile. So what this all means is that I hope you will visit my shop and leave with a smile on your face and maybe a purchase or two. That my creatively designed displays will inspire you. That the seasonal decor will help you celebrate each new season, whether it be spring, summer, fall, or the holidays. |
